Collection: Psychotronic Flowers

Welcome to My Psychotronic Flowers

What is a Psychotronic Flower? Think of a Mind Machine powered by you, the viewer.

The Psychotronic Flowers grew out of my collaboration with visionary artist Paul Laffoley, when I produced an edition of radionic devices based on his 1998 design for the Hieronymus Box Two (see my documentary here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyOxZ_KkaSM). Paul himself drew from a long lineage of psychotronic inventors dating back to the 19th century.

I also had the privilege of visiting Duncan Laurie, author of The Secret Art: A Brief History of Radionic Technology for the Creative Individual. In his home in Machiasport, Maine, I saw an extraordinary archive of vintage psychotronic devices—a treasure chest of functional metaphysical machines.

Wilhelm Reich was another influence. The concept of Orgonite—a material created by embedding metal shavings and quartz crystals in resin—is said to amplify or transmute subtle energies. I learned to manufacture it and began embedding it in my own devices.

I do not yet know how the Psychotronic Flowers will evolve. At the moment, they are: A bridge, A machine, A portal, An art-ifact.
